At 15 and 16 years old, Dalton and Maddie start dating! This is just a week after their first date at a local worship concert followed by dinner and watching a Cowboys football game. Both are avid members of YoungLife Aledo!

After the pandemic shut down the world, Dalton and Maddie enjoy a "6-month summer" full of lake days, pool floating, at-home WODs, card games, and sweet friends. Maddie and Dalton share a love for skiing, on snow and water!

Maddie's senior and Dalton's junior year fly by! Countless basketball and game nights at the Rapp's, dinners at the Huntington's, and sweet date nights together.

Homecoming! Maddie's first time home since starting her freshman year at Texas A&M. Football season is in full swing and Dalton is testing out a new position for senior year, tight end! We are incredibly grateful to have had a year apart to learn and grow individually.

Grateful for the Rapp's! The sweetest senior year for Dalton wrapped up with a trip to Costa Rica alongside friends like family. Wonderful memories, beautiful scenery, and an exciting future ahead at A&M to look forward to! Dalton is headed to Aggieland in the fall!

WHOOP! Dalton and Maddie are reunited in Aggieland, living in Fowler and Clements halls, just across the way from each other. (Northside, best side!!) This is quite the upgrade from the previous year. SO many new friends, dates at Sbisa, and long walks through campus.

Fall semester, year two together at A&M. This picture pretty much sums up how these few months felt. Dalton and Maddie are tackling a challenging semester head-on. Dalton is working double-time to get ahead and Maddie is battling her toughest semester yet. We are so proud of the discipline and dedication displayed by each other during this time. So. many. study dates.

Surprise! After nearly 4 and a half years, Dalton and Maddie are engaged! Dalton pulled off an epic surprise engagement with the help of a few sisters. What a special moment at one of our favorite places. Now, time to hit the slopes!

I guess dreams really do come true. Dalton made the football team, walking on just a week before the engagement. The rest of the spring semester was spent in pure excitement and exhaustion, life could not be busier or more fun! Just a year before the big day, Dalton played in the spring game ON Kyle Field!

Senior year, here we come! Dalton and Maddie are in the thick of wedding planning, eagerly awaiting Aggie Ring Day, and coming off a great summer working for wonderful companies. What a joy it has been to grow up together. Each step came with huge changes yet at every point we've met one other again. Mark 10:9
